• The 232 NLF Pickem Straight Up covers the 17 weeks of the NFL regular season.
• The goal is to try and predict the winner of every NFL game each week.
• You pick your winners straight up (NO POINT SPREADS).
• Correct predictions earn you 1 point(s).
•  The top 1-3 players each week will win the weekly cash prize.
• Points will also accumulate all season long, and the top (1-3) players overall will win a cash prize at years end.
• $5 per week ($85 for season).  Required to play a Minimum of 4 weeks.

HOW DO I JOIN:

• Click here to join. If you have not registered before with www.officefootballpools.com then you will be asked to register. If you have already registered, just login.
• The pool begins with the 1st NFL game of the season and ends with the last NFL game of the regular season.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST:

• The pool entry fee is $5 per entry/per week or $85 for the season per entry. Multiple entries per person ARE allowed.
  • Must pay for a minimum of 4 weeks ($20) at a time.

WHAT ARE THE DEADLINES:

• You can enter all 17 weeks or just a few weeks during the season (minimum of 4 is required). Its your choice.
• The deadline to submit your picks is up until 15 minutes before kickoff of the 1st game of the week.
• Members picks will not be displayed to other members until kickoff of that game.
• Failure to send your entry fee on time will result in your entry being disqualified for that week.
• If you enter and pay on time, but fail to submit your picks on time, you will receive Default Picks for the week. Default Picks will be all of the HOME teams, and a '0' for the tiebreaker prediction.
  • DEFAULT PICKS will make you ineligilb for the weekly prize, but your points will still count towards the the season prize.
• It is YOUR responsibility to make the deadline each week, but email reminders to make your picks will go out during the week.

 SUBMIT PICKS

1. To begin, navigate to the pool page at www.officefootballpool.com and select the "232 NFL Pickem Straight Up" contest from the left side of the menu.
2. Once there, click on Picks at the top of the page to access the pick sheet, and now you can submit your picks for the week.
3. You will pick the winner of each of the games that week, straight up (with no point spreads).
4. Predict the Total Points for the TieBreaker Game.
   1. The Tie Breaker Game will always be the last Monday Night game.
5. Make sure you hit "SUBMIT" to submit your picks.

• 1pt for each correct pick.
• After each weeks games have been played, the standings will be updated with current weekly standings and the season standings.
• The player with the most points wins the weekly prize.
  • 1-3 players will be paid out per week.
• At the end of the season, the top 1-3 players will win the cash prize.

• In an effor to keep players playing all season long, and to increase the # of people that win money, I have decide to apply more money to the weekly prize ($4.25 per entry) and ($0.75 per entry) to the season ending prize.
• OFFICIAL prizes TBD based on total # of paid entries.
• The "ESTIMATED" Payout for 2010 is as follows and based on 35 paid entries:
• Weekly Payout:  
  • 1st:  $110
  • 2nd: $55
  • 3rd: $20
• Season Payout:
  • 1st: $360
  • 2nd: $90

• Running Office Pools takes a lot of time & a little money, so a small portion (10% of prize money) will be used to offset my expenses & time and an additional $60 will be taken to pay officefootballpool.com for this pool.
• Expense of running a pool include, but are not limited to:
  • Domain registration, Hosting fee, PayPal, Banking fees, pool software, web design software, postage, and other miscellaneous expenses.

WEEKLY TIEBREAKERS:

The Weekly Standings in this pool are based on 'Wins'. The person with the most wins is ranked highest

1. The first tiebreaker is last 'MNF Pick'. A winning pick on the Last Monday Night Football (MNF) game wins this tiebreaker. 
2. The next tiebreaker is last 'MNF Total'. The person who most closely picks the total combined score in the Monday night game.
   1. Going over or under does not matter.
   2. If there is no Monday night game, the website will designate a replacement game.
3. If there is a tie after 'MNF Total', it will be considered a tie and winnings will be split.
4. REMEMBER....Default Picks are not eligible for the Weekly Prize.

SEASON TIEBREAKERS:

The Season Standings in this pool are based on 'Wins'. The person with the most wins is ranked highest.

1. The first tiebreaker is 'MNF Pick'. The most winning picks on the Monday Night football game (or game designated as such) wins this tiebreaker.
2. If there is a tie after 'MNF Pick', the next tiebreaker is 'MNF Total'. The person who most closely picks the total combined score by both teams in the Monday Night Football (MNF) game wins this tiebreaker.
   1. Going over or under does not matter.
   2. For the season tiebreaker, it is the cumulative absolute difference between your predictions and the final score. For example, if you were off by 4 the first week and -4 the second week, your absolute difference would be 8 after 2 weeks.
3. If there is a tie after 'MNF Total', it will be considered a tie (and winnings will be split).

You must provide a full name and email address in order to join the pool.  Don't worry though: 

• These will never be displayed on the site.  Only your anonymous username/alias will appear in the standings.
• 232 Office Pools will NEVER sell or distribute the contact information of our members to a third-party.
• I do send occasional emails regarding our upcoming pools.  To stop receiving these, let me know.

I reserve the right to make changes to the Rules midway through the competition in order to maintain the integrity and fairness of the pool.  This could include adding new rules, doing away with rules, and making changes to incorrect results or standings.  Changes will only be made if absolutely necessary, and we will hold a vote for any major issues, if possible.  Any changes to the picks or results will be flagged in the Standings, so you will know if any changes are made.
